Opportunities for Consultants

The Development Consulting Services team within the William Davidson Institute (WDI) at the University of Michigan seeks expressions of interest from qualified candidates for the posts of :

Agribusiness Consultants (Short- and Long-Term)

The work is for a proposed multidisciplinary project during 2008 and 2009. The candidates should be excellent communicators, be able to manage strict deadlines, and work collaboratively to lead US-African university team(s) to develop a curriculum for small and medium enterprises, deliver training of trainers and co-teaching, and develop relevant MBA case studies. 
 
Requirements:

·At least 7 years of relevant work experience in agriculture, food processing and its forward and backward-linked business operations

·Substantial knowledge of Sub-Saharan agriculture and business practices required
 
·Teaching experience at college level required
 
·Proven ability to work in complex environments
 
·Travel required to several African countries
 
·Knowledge of French is an asset
 
·A Master’s and Doctorate degree in Agricultural Economics, Business Administration, or related field required
